Project summary
MAFS
Modular Architectures for Systems
MAFS is a research project investigating
modular service based architectires in small and embedded devices. Members
of the project group are ATI Technologies Finland, Hantro, Nokia and
Tampere University of Technology.
The MAFS project emphasizes the development
of modules as the basic building blocks of the new architectures. In addition,
MAFS examines system integration, service-based system creation, resource
management, and software development concepts for modular architectures.
Hence, the primary results from the MAFS project are the module implementations,
architectures built on top of the modules, and proof-of-concept designs
to concretize the concepts and ideas.
Please see the MAFS project webpages
for further information.
