DACI Research Group
Welcome to the DACI research group web pages! In this general section you
will find information about our history, research areas, projects, and goals. The
group is strongly project oriented and mainly conducts contracted
research with industry. Other activities include participation in
national and European public funded projects and programs.
Group competence is positioned between basic scientific research and
computer engineering. We are devoted to implementations, it is our
proud to turn theoretical research results into solutions working in
practice.
The DACI group is headed by Prof. Timo D. Hämäläinen and Prof. Marko Hännikäinen. The
research team includes 10 PhD students
working as full-time researchers and 30 MSc students as employed
research assistants.
Starting from year 1997, over 60 MSc and six PhD degrees have been
achieved. Publications include 200+ international refereed
conference papers and over 50 international journal publications.
