TWIN: local communities on adhoc wlan
TWIN project develops a new kind of local community platform and a set
of social applications
for mobile Linux/Maemo devices.
communities are mobile; a network is
created in adhoc (over WLAN) as other people and devices appear within
range. TWIN is
used for tracking old and meeting new friends (chatting, messaging,
advertising) and sharing of things (photos, videos, songs, stories).
TWIN combines the geographical (physical) presence and the social
community networks. This means you actually have been near the person
